Hala AI voice replies update, with a short demo of a call
Voice

Faster voice replies

Long pauses on a call make callers wonder whether the line is still open. Two changes shorten the wait: the AI now works to a tighter time limit for each reply, and the greeting warm-up runs in parallel with the rest of the call setup.

Where to find it

The change applies to calls handled by your voice agent. To see its effect, open Calls and check the Response time section of a call that started on or after 14 October 2026.

How to check it

  • Open Calls from the sidebar and click a completed voice call.
  • Scroll to Response time and read the average wait, the slowest wait and the greeting time.
  • Slow turns have a red border. Note the calls where the wait is still too long, so the team can review them.

Who it helps: businesses that take calls from customers who expect a quick answer, such as clinics, salons and hotels. A shorter wait keeps the conversation moving for callers who want a fast reply.
